About SpeedTestry - Your Free Speed Test Tool
SpeedTestry is a free browser-based tool for measuring download speed, upload speed, ping, and jitter. Use it to observe your connection and compare measurements taken under similar conditions.
How Our Speed Test Works
SpeedTestry transfers test data between your browser and a Cloudflare Worker endpoint. It measures download and upload transfers, then checks latency and variation in latency. These steps run in sequence, and results vary with network conditions.
Lightning Fast Speed Test
See download, upload, ping, and jitter after the test finishes. The time required depends on your connection.
Global Speed Test Network
Test requests are handled by Cloudflare Workers. The endpoint and route used for a test can affect the result.
Private Speed Test
Up to 10 recent test results are stored in your browser on this device. See our Privacy Policy for details.
Real-time Speed Test Results
Watch your speed test progress in real-time with our beautiful, animated speed test gauge display.
Using SpeedTestry Alongside Other Tests
Results can differ between testing services because they use different endpoints and methods. Compare results at similar times with the same device and connection.
Speed Test Technology
SpeedTestry uses React for its interface and Cloudflare Workers for its test endpoints. Results describe transfers to and from those endpoints; they are estimates rather than a guarantee of every connection.
