Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 2026

At SpeedTestry, we take your privacy seriously. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our speed testing service.

Information We Collect

When you run a test, your browser sends requests to our Cloudflare Worker endpoint. The requests include technical information such as your IP address and user agent, and test data is transferred to measure speed. The app also processes download speed, upload speed, ping, and jitter in your browser.

How We Use Your Information

We use test requests to calculate and show your connection measurements. The user information endpoint may use the IP address and country supplied by Cloudflare to display approximate connection information. We do not use those details to select a guaranteed nearest server.

Data Storage

The app saves your 10 most recent test results in this browser’s localStorage under “speedtest-history”. They remain on this device after you close the session until you clear this site’s storage in your browser. The app does not write these results to its own server database. Cloudflare may process request metadata as part of hosting and security.

Browser storage

The site uses the URL path (/ or /zh/) for language selection. The app does not set a language-preference cookie. Your browser may retain local site data, including test history, until you clear it.

Third-Party Services

Our service is hosted on Cloudflare's infrastructure. Cloudflare may collect certain technical information as part of their service. Please refer to Cloudflare's privacy policy for more information about their data practices.
